Import A File
The Import a File button takes data from your company's internal software system and brings it into the EDI software to be prepared for sending to a trading partner. The actual procedure initiated by the Import a File command is customizable and must be determined by the user. This procedure (defined in the QIMPORT.BAT file) must get the desired data from the company's application software and apply the Qualedi labels to all the fields so it is ready for EDI processing. Refer to the "Host Interface" section for a detailed explanation on importing data.
