Value Added Network (VAN) is where your EDI mailbox has been setup and is serviced. Qualedi, Inc. prides itself in communication options we have the ability to connect to all major VANs.

 

How VANs work

VANs typically use FTP to transmit data they add value to your business as a "go to" company when a document needs to be re-sent. Most VANs provide interconnects to other VANs and can provide some additional fee based services.

Be aware that there are many options available for data transport / communication protocol. We recommend that you annually review your trading partner communication options.
