We have chosen to develop data transport software in response to customer requests specifically in the Utility Industry where the U.S. Government has mandated Electronic Data Mechanism (EDM) standards compliance. PowerXchange – EDM
Qualedi PowerXchange is a simple to use, fairly priced communications software
package that supports both NAESB and GISB standards. It can operate as a stand-alone
module with your current EDI system or you can install our custom package
that integrates the communications module with Qualedi EDI Translation Software™.
In either case, Qualedi can ensure that you will be compliant with the newly
established utility industry communications guidelines.

Our custom FTP client is designed for EDI document exchange with your trading partner through the FTP protocol.

Q-Express "Your Retailer EDI Solution"
We have two decades of EDI experience building pre-packaged, pre-configured
retailer systems (e.g. Wal-Mart, JCPenney, K-Mart and etc.) that include customized
document and communications requirements.
The EDI Express utilizes Qualedi software combined with a communication interface
approved by the retailer. This package designed for efficient, reliable EDI
trading with the retailer. This package provides the software and documents
you need for full compliance with the retailer EDI program.

Workstation "Rip and Read"
"Workstation" is the term used to describe a translator that requires manual
input, or key entry, to fill out information required to send an EDI document.
A document that is received on a Workstation can be viewed on the screen or
printed.
Front End "Hands Free EDI"
Data flows effortlessly between application systems! After initial mapping
and set-up, this system is one that automatically retrieves the required information
for an EDI document from a specific existing software application (example:
An Accounting Package) and sends that document to a trading partner. When
the computer receives an EDI document from the trading partner, the EDI information
is placed into the software application without manual intervention.
Service Bureau (Private) "Internal divisions or Subsidiaries"
This System allows you to exchange documents on behalf of internal divisions
or departments with external trading partners. You may have multiple internal
trading partners.
Internal trading partners are those separate and distinct internal entities
that funnel their EDI document through the central Qualedi translator.
External trading partners are the companies with which you exchange EDI documents.
The system allows an unlimited number of trading partners (E.g. JC Penney,
Walgreen's etc.)
Service Bureau (Commercial) "Start a business"
This System allows you to exchange documents on behalf of third parties, your
customers. This allows you to start with 10 customers and set them up with
an unlimited number of external trading partners (E.g. JC Penney, Walgreen's
etc.)
Trading Partner set up is a simple, one-page form. All the document types
and versions---both X12 and EDIFACT---are part of the package. Formats can
be designed right in the software or made expressly for you.
Q-HUB "Complete Automation - Free Transmissions"
Pre-configured for Qualedi customers, tailored specifically to automate your
data stream. This system is designed to seamlessly include your smaller vendors
and suppliers into your document flow. Additionally, with the use of Qualedi
E-Mail our customers do not participate in VAN charge.
Planetary System "Forget the Fax"
Designed to decrease inbound paper (faxes, email etc…) from non EDI vendor
/ suppliers. The Hub and its current EDI operations, connections and correspondents
remain unchanged. Each non EDI vendor / supplier is provided with the simplest
form of software, allowing it to receive and print incoming documents and
to key-enter and send outgoing ones. The satellites are tailored strictly
to the hub's requirements, following implementation guidelines, document types
and versions currently in use. All satellites are identical and can only serve
the hub. The hub now deals only in EDI terms with all its correspondents.

Hosted Solutions
To assist customers in non traditional EDI, Qualedi tailors business solutions for customers who choose to outsource their e-commerce. A hosted solution may include the use of an internet website, direct file transfer protocol, FTP from you business application or fax to EDI.

eX-Fax "Fax to EDI"
For your customers / suppliers who only have a fax machine, this system will
pass their sent fax through an OCR / ICR converter. Each fax is then mapped
to your companies' specifications. Your customers / suppliers change nothing
about the way they do business with you.
